This is one of the most emotional moment in the drama, when Shin said the one thing he never wanted to say as a desperate attempt to protect Gyu Won by making her stay. 

        “If you leave now, then it’s over between us.”

Shin said those words without realizing how stubborn Gyu Won actually is and how she put others’ well-being before herself. Gyu Won didn’t want to walk away either but she couldn’t ignore the Director who is in trouble. 

When Gyu Won walked away, Shin was scared. Shin really was scared of losing her and the only thing he could do at that point was to grabbed onto her and refuse to let go. To beg her not to leave, because he really didn’t mean those words and if she were to leave and if it’s over between them, he wouldn’t know what to do.

I got to see Shin’s vulnerable side for the first time when it comes to Gyu Won. It’s touching.
